About the Aruba Tourism Authority

Who are we?

The Aruba Tourism Authority (A.T.A.) is the Destination Marketing and Management Organization (DMMO) for Aruba. We are responsible for uniting tourism interests amongst the on- and off-island stakeholders/partners to coordinate destination marketing, destination development, and destination partnerships.

As of January 1, 2011, A.T.A. has evolved from a government agency to a unique independent legal entity within the public sphere. We aim to become the most innovative and creative DMMO in the Caribbean with the ultimate mission of increasing the share of affluent travelers and the economic value of tourism for the benefit of the community and our stakeholders by positioning and developing Aruba as their preferred Caribbean destination.

A.T.A.’s Core Purpose: We drive prosperity for Aruba through sustainable tourism.

A.T.A.’s Vision: To lead the positioning and development of Aruba as a desirable and sustainable destination by being an innovative and agile Destination Marketing and Management Organization.

A.T.A.’s Core Values: Passion, Excellence, Unity, Pioneering, and Integrity

Around 40 employees work at our headquarters in Aruba. The main spoken and written languages are Papiamento and English. We also have offices in North America, Latin America, and Europe.
