The European Office falls under the Marketing unit, and is responsible for developing and executing all marketing, sales, and communication strategies, policies, and plans for the A.T.A. and the Aruba brand as well as executing all marketing-related activities in the market.
We are looking for a Junior Sales & Marketing Executive for our Europe Office based in The Netherlands. The Junior Sales & Marketing Executive forms part of A.T.A. Europe and is responsible for executing day-to-day marketing activities, ensuring that all marketing tasks are completed as planned and on time through effective project planning and detailed execution. The Junior Sales & Marketing Executive reports to the Area Director and/or Sales & Marketing Manager regarding a wide range of sales and marketing activities and coordination, ranging from assistance with the sales & marketing plans, promotions, support and reporting of the execution of day-to-day activities within his / her scope.
- Assists the Sales and Marketing Manager Europe and the A.T.A. Europe marketing team, in all aspects of day-to-day execution of marketing projects;
- Assists the Area Director with reporting consolidating all reports into one, market analysis and preparations for presentations and meetings;
- Liaises with regional representative offices and marketing agencies on all aspects of projects and day-to-day work;
- Assists in overseeing quality control of creative and all agency deliverables (presentations, blogs etc.) based on feedback received internally, regionally, and from HQ;
- Coordinates and communicates project details to appropriate team members along with any required actions required;
- Monitors and tracks action plans of representation offices and /or sales representatives on execution, and reports findings hereof to the Sales & Marketing Manager Europe;
- Organizes and prepares necessary documentation and presentations for internal and relevant business meetings;
- Works with Tour Operators in the execution of co-marketing plans;
- Keeps track of partnership agreements with airlines, tour operators, including advertising campaigns;
- Collects and shares specific market intelligence (i.e. consumer habits/trends, competition, general travel trends) which is of relevance to the A.T.A. to better promote Aruba.
- Bachelors’ degree in marketing, business administration or tourism related study;
- 1 - 2 years’ experience in marketing, advertising or other related experience;
- Knowledge of Digital Marketing and statistical analysis;
- Skilled in identifying business and promotional activities and the preparation of activity plans based on market information;
- Skilled in organizing and coordinating activities such as business meetings, promotions, events, sales training, trade shows and others;
- Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Keynote and Outlook;
- Strong work ethic; Being able to work independent;
- Ability to effectively prioritize and work on multiple tasks;
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a strong sense of accountability/responsibility;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent command of English and Dutch language both verbal and written.
